New Music Friday: Soave's latest music releases

De Hofnar and Kav Verhouzer tantalize with the tempting Mamacita

Practically a founder of the melodic and tropical house genre that continues to propel the Soave family forwards, De Hofnar has kept his foot hard on the pedal with his unstoppable run of club and radio-hybrid bangers. Similarly, Kav Verhouzer - a longtime friend and collaborator who boasts over 860,000 monthly listeners - has become quite a staple since his project’s inception back in 2012. The two continue to team up for several dance pop hits like the ones you’ve already heard, but “Mamacita” may very well be the most tempting. Its punchy bass line blends blissfully under a chipper assortment of brass and synth instruments before Jody Bernal of Colombia adds his irresistible vocal touch. Tantalizing at its core, this’ll have you aching for the summer oh so close to come!
