Swedish DJ trio JRL, with tens of millions of plays on their songs so far needing little introduction, is back on track after a silent summer. Starting off 2020 with considerable viral success on their take on ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’, the three Scandinavians took the time to define their sound and start a new chapter signing with Dutch label Soave Records.
‘Freedom’ is the first in a string of singles: an energetic vocal dance track with both pop and slap house influences, lifting our spirits and especially effective in motivating us to lift some weights or pick up the pace once more. As the lyrics go: we just need our freedom!
