Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern

 

Are you looking for an internship to combine your creative marketing studies with your love for dance music? Then read on! Soave Records is looking for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Intern who makes our music stand out.


Soave Records was founded in 2017 and releases about twenty electronic dance music songs every week. We’re working with thousands of artists including De Hofnar, Kav Verhouzer, Madism and Braaheim, featuring collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and INNA. Our label is currently within the top 10 Spotify curators worldwide and globally known for our tropical and chill house releases. Our international team is growing fast and we might be looking for you!


You have:

• A good understanding of different social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram and some experience with managing social media account(s)

• Interest in and good understanding of storytelling, advertising and performance marketing.

• Flawless English communication skills including writing

• Some experience with writing for marketing purposes such as social media captions, press releases, blogs and/or newsletters

• Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Figma, CapCut and Adobe Creative Suite is a big plus.

• Good project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time

• A proactive attitude and great organisational skills that will help you manage a lot of different lines of communication.

• A lot of love for (electronic dance) music

You are:

• A student at a Dutch university (WO/HBO) doing a studies related to entertainment-, media-, marketing- or communication management

• A self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative and run projects on your own

• A creative thinker who thrives on creating unique ideas and engaging content.

• Available for a minimum of 6 months starting in September/October 2024

• Available to work from our office in Rotterdam (NL)

What will you be doing?

• Update and optimise our website by adding our newest releases, writing blogs and setting up landing pages for our campaigns

• Managing social media channels for both Soave as its artists such as making trend reports, creating, posting and scheduling content and assisting with influencer campaigns

• Manage and optimise our weekly newsletters

• Community management such as interacting with our fans on platforms like Discord and YouTube

• Manage the distribution of song lyrics to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music
