Summer 2023 could not peak any better now that Madism has likely delivered the most anthemic hit of the season. With a stream count that you’ll have to scratch your eyes after seeing, Madism builds a soundscape that ebbs and flows with an irresistible seamlessness; pretty piano melodies ride the wave of a delicate rhythm before the energy peaks in each drop. That being said, there’s no anthem without a vocal to sing along to. And oh how Philip Strand lives up to the task, striking an arrow straight to your heart with a deeply evocative yet awe-inspiring vocal.
