Playlist Curation Intern
Are you that guy or girl who shares their playlists with all their friends? And would you want to share them with the whole world instead? One of the fastest-growing music labels in electronic dance music is looking for a Playlist Curation Intern who gets our music out to even more people. Join the Soave team and learn everything there is to know about the playlisting world.
Soave Records was founded in 2017 and releases about 20 electronic dance music songs every week. We’re working with thousands of artists including De Hofnar, Kav Verhouzer, Madism and Henri Purnell. Despite its young age, our label is currently within the top 10 Spotify curators worldwide and globally known for our tropical and chill house releases. Our international team is growing fast and we might be looking for you!
You have:
· Understanding of (Spotify) SEO and keyword research
· Experience as a curator
· Spreadsheet knowledge and affinity for analytics and data tools
· Flawless English communication skills (any additional language skills, especially Spanish, Portuguese and German are a strong plus)
· Love for (electronic dance) music
You are:
· Student at a European university
· Available for 6 months starting in February 2023
· Preferably available to come into our office in Rotterdam (NL) at least twice a week, alternatively work from home within the EU
· A self-starter in on the latest news and pop culture
· Able to understand how people listen to music and think about it
· Always on the hunt for innovation and not afraid to pitch ideas time and time again
· A data native who can help turn numbers into effective strategies
What will you be doing?
· Improve the popularity of our existing playlists on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
· Play an active role in developing a strategy for strengthening our position in language-specific territories
· Create new playlists in a variety of genres and topics
· Get in touch with playlist curators worldwide
· Track the performance based on streaming platform and third party data
