Music & Artist Marketing Intern

 

Are you looking for an internship to combine your creative marketing studies with your love for dance music? Then read on! Soave Records is looking for a Music & Artist Marketing Intern who makes our music stand out. 

Soave Records was founded in 2017 and currently releases thousands of feel good electronic dance music songs per year featuring artists like Sick Individuals, Snoop Dogg, De Hofnar, Kav Verhouzer and Braaheim. Besides that, our label has been in the Top 10 independent Spotify playlist curators for years and we recently won the STOMP Young Achievement Award for being thé one to watch Dutch independent label. Needless to say, we need all the help we can to take our brand to the next level. That’s why we are looking for you!

You have:

• A good understanding of different social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Soundcloud and YouTube. Having experience with managing (successful) social media account(s) and creating content is a big plus

• A good understanding of (digital) advertising, SEO and performance marketing is an even bigger plus

• Flawless English communication skills including writing, Dutch is a plus

• A lot of love for (electronic dance) music

• Some experience with writing for marketing purposes such as press releases, social media captions, blogs and/or newsletters

• Good project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time

• A proactive attitude and great organisational skills: we are looking for someone who actively rolls up their sleeves and is not afraid to start up projects by themselves

You are:

• A student at a Dutch university (WO/HBO) doing a studies related to entertainment-, media-, marketing-, event- or communication management

• Available for a minimum of 6 months starting in January or February 2025

• Available to come into our office in Rotterdam (NL) 

• A self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative and run projects on your own

What will you be doing?

• Help to develop the brands of a wide range of electronic dance music musicians

• Research new marketing activities that will help our artists gain a bigger and more loyal fan base by actively interacting with our artists community

• Write creative and engaging social media plans for individual artists including developing and creating social media content and influencer marketing

• Research existing artist and music marketing strategies and write case studies

• Pitch our latest music for support from the editorial teams of Beatport, 1001Tracklist, YouTube, Musixmatch and Spotify

• Assist with organising events showcasing our artist’s performances including our Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 program

• Help out with developing our own Spotify, YouTube and TikTok playlists to increase the streams on our music
